Due to ongoing materials shortages and the rising costs of materials & shipping, I can no longer offer ready-to-ship boas at what I consider to be reasonable prices. After much soul-searching & number-crunching, I have decided to close the Brooklyn Boas storefront as of May 1st, 2023.

After more than a decade of cleaning up shed feathers from traditional boas, Nasty began experimenting with different materials (macramé yarn, Christmas ornaments, paper bags, even Dunkin Donuts cups) before perfecting her tulle boa recipe - & the very first Brooklyn Boa was born.
Now handmade to order in her Southwestern studio, Nasty’s boas are a favorite with spectacular showponies & drag artists across the US & Canada. Customizable, machine-washable & easily-packable for the superstar-on-the-go, they’re the perfect piece of fabulousness for every wardrobe.

Brooklyn Boas are individually handmade to order and usually ship within 4 weeks of order.
